Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: The Repeat

after 5 weeks from our weekend trip to KL, we found ourselves back to this city. we really are the crazy ones. haha!

like our previous visit, we were in KL on a weekend. staycation and shopping weekend trip.

for us to reach our hotel in time, we opted to take our usual route via train. 

 aaaand we're back!

the highlight of this trip was our overnight stay in Hilton KL! it was one of the best staycations ever! Grateful for a contact, we were able to avail a room for a very (emphasis on "very") low rate. *happy dance*

*since we were really amazed with our hotel, we have decided to just chill at the lounge instead of hitting the downtown pub. love it!

So besides staying in our hotel for almost 75% time of our trip, we also managed to bring ourselves outside the hotel. haha! so on our first night, we were craving for something greasy and filling so we walked towards the nearest mcdonalds for a late dinner. yum!

after we checked out the following day, we spent the rest of our afternoon shopping and eating.

we had our lunch at one of the famous food streets in KL, Jalan Alor. after which, we basically burned money by shopping in bukit bintang. haha!

i was craving for grilled chicken so we had our late lunch at Nando's peri peri chicken, which is not found here in Jakarta. hehe.

since we are flying out via Malaysia Airlines, we finally tried riding the KLIA express. it was fast and convenient. However, the free wifi didn't seem to be working at that time.

i was royally pissed when you left my bag in KL and brought it to me after 3 days of waiting. i hope it won't happen again on my next flight with you. I still like you though.

Last Thoughts about KL

This KL trip has been a revelation to me, personal revelation that is. *wink* Moreover, shopping in KL has always been a pleasurable experience for me. I was able to find the pair of pumps i've been hunting for some time now. good buy! How could i forget the hilton staycation that has been the highlight of this weekend. amazeballs! 

to my KL buddy, Isa, our KL trips have always been one for the books. I hope we could squeeze a local trip before you leave me. boo! hahaha!
