Uniquely Singapore

april 9 - 11, '09

1st leg of my southeast asia tour

my mom and i had a total of 1 1/2 days to explore the city but unfortunately we were not able to do so because i was sick, terribly sick all throughout this trip.major boohoo!! ;(

we were only able to go to bugis junction (love love!!), mustafa centre (pasalubong shopping) and fountain of wealth.

ACCOMMODATION
we stayed at South East Asia Hotel (http://www.seahotel.com.sg/) for 100 SGD per night/per room. we had a queen size bed. the bathroom is small but clean. there is no refrigerator inside the room which is a disappointment for my mom because she needs to keep her diabetes meds in a cold place.breakfast was ok, didn't enjoy it much because i was not feeling well.

GETTING TO/FROM/AROUND
we took jetstar airlines from Manila bound to Singapore. This airline is found at Terminal 1 of NAIA.

upon arrival to singapore, my mom and i took taxi going to our hotel and from our hotel, we then again took taxi going back to airport to catch our flight bound to phnom prnh via jetstar.

since bugis junction is near to our hotel, we opted to walk to get there. we took MRT to reach suntec mall and fountain of wealth. we also took taxi going to mustafa centre.

some pics of our short trip :)
