overnight stint in cambodia! whew! it was fun fun fun!!! :)
GETTING TO/AWAY
from tay ninh city, it took us 40 minutes to arrive in border. and then another 5 hours from border to siem reap. vietnam/cambodia borders opens daily at 7am and closes at 5pm.so how did we cross the borders? first, we went to vietnam's immigration building. we had our passports stamped and then walked 500 meters toward the cambodian border. cambodia immigration was just like a check point site.hahaha. afterwards, off to siem reap!
ACCOMODATION
we stayed in red piano guesthouse. walking distance from angkor night market. i think it's 15$/night for triple room.the place was not that fancy but cute interiors. breakfast is included though you have to wak 2 or 3 blocks from the hotel where their restaurant is located.
TOURS
we toured 3 angkor temples when we arrived in siem reap. we went to angkor wat, ta prohm and bayon temple. :) the following morning, we went to artisans d'angkor. it's like a village workshop where you can visit and watch how to make statues, paintings and more. must go!hehe
