This is like a food trip report of some sort. I am no food
expert. I am just a a foodie wannabe adding food experiences in my every
travel. America was no exception. Hehe.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Studios, Florida
the butter beer - tasted like caramel soda with extra sweet froth. the drink was too sweet to be drank in one gulp. It was good for one time try. I'm not keen in drinking one again. Hehe.
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop
Ocean Beach (Sea Salt Caramel Sundae) - yummy yummy yummy! Massive serving for one. I shared this to The Boyfriend.
The Cheesecake Factory
Roasted Salmon and shrimp scampi - yum! I finished everything in my plate.
Based on my friend's ordered dishes, theirs looked yummy too! I guess i have to go back to try some more dishes!
My friends were gushing over The Cheesecake Factory's brown bread. In all fairness, it was yummy!
Fisherman's Wharf, Seattle, Washington
Clam Chowder - it was a bit sour but i guess that was the supposed taste right? Hahaha!
Famous Dave's Barbeque, Everett, Washington
All American BBQ Feast - so filling! I love the variety of BBQ sauces but the corny me settled on the not so spicy one. hehe.
Voodoo Doughnuts, Portland, Oregon
one dozen of assorted treats - being a cake monster i can honestly say that it was yummy but not OMG yummy.
Deschutes Brewery, Portland, Oregon
We got the Brewery pretzel, elk burger, bison burger and pasta (can't recall the name) plus beer samples for the boys
Grassa, Portland, Oregon
We ordered pappardelle, squid ink strozapetti and fritto misto. I switched pasta with The Boyfriend. haha! Their pasta is hand made so the quality is good.
Fifty licks Ice Cream
I am not an ice cream fan, but this was worth a try! I got the chocolate brown butter while The Boyfriend got the tahitian vanilla. In all fairness, it was yummy!
Ihop
Despite having numerous branches in the Philippines, which i never tried anyway, i said to myself i'll try it in Americaaaaaaa.
I got the Split Decision from the menu. I love the french toasts but the pancake, it was alright.

I have been hearing about these burgers since forever. I said to The Boyfriend that i must try it before i leave so i finally able to try it while driving to Las Vegas. I was disappointed. I dunno. I think something is wrong with my palate. Am I the only one??? I"m giving a second try next time!
Bacchanal Buffet, Caesar Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada
I think i gained 5 lbs after eating here. I was so full from their buffet spread. Despite the over all fullness that The Boyfriend and I experienced, we were not satisfied with the quality of their buffet. According to The Boyfriend, the oysters were not fresh and he only liked the crab legs.
Moreover, being a dessert lover i was not really impressed with their dessert spread. I like all the treats but there was no particular dessert that caught my crazy taste bud. hehe.
Tacos El Gordo, Las Vegas, Nevada
My first try of an authentic mexican food! It was a bit weird but satisfying. However, I didn't eat that much as we are traveling back to LA and i feared that my crazy tummy won't handle it until we were back home. hehe.
Leo & Lily
On my last night in LA, The Boyfriend and I had a simple dinner at a cafe near to his place. I was genuinely touched when The Boyfriend figured out what type of restaurant i like. I like simple, cozy and quaint cafes.
For dinner we had bread basket, chicken wings, nana's meatloaf, and another dish i forgot the name. hehe. The food was so-so. We were disappointed with their tiramisu. It tasted wrong in some level but fortunately, our server was very accommodating and gave us a new cake, red velvet. It was way better than the tiramisu.
There you have it! And as of this writing, i am already mentally listing down my restaurant and food choices for my next visit.
