Indonesia Chronicles: Taman Mini

July 9, 2011

i've been here a little more than 3 months already and i have never been able to go out that much coz of work. so when a random talk turned to a mini-tourist-y plan came up, i grabbed the opportunity.

since i'm currently residing here in south jakarta, one of the nearest tourist spot is Taman Mini.

TAMAN MINI is like their "mini" indonesia. it's like their version of Nayong Pilipino. to check more about Taman Mini, check this out: Taman Mini by Wikipedia

From our workplace, we rode a cab going here. entrance fee was 9000 IDR/pax. we decided to rent a pedicab for us to tour around the place. we initially decided to rent it for 1 hour but the whole place was sooooooooo big and it took us 2 hours to bike around.

rent of bike - 60,000 IDR/hour

after our short stay at Taman Mini, we all decided to head off to Tamini Mall. food feast at pizza hut as my treat for letting the three of them pedaled while i just sat and took photos. hahaha!!

warning: a very terrible service in tamini mall's pizza hut. we were utterly disappointed. i actually asked for a complaint form but they don't any. boo!
