a special trip :)
since it was khmer new year, my dad had 3 days vacation so we all went to siem reap to visit the FAMOUS angkor temples :)
*getting to/from there*
we rode angkor paramount express bus. fare cost 11$/each. bus number seats were given upon purchase of ticket.travel was 5-6 hours with 1 stopover. travel from phnom penh to siem reap was like traveling from manila to ilocos. puro rice fields ang makikita.hehe. our bus ride from phnom penh to siem reap was ok. but the bus ride from siem reap back to phnom penh was terrible. aircon was soooo low.it was sooo hot!
TIP! if your main goal is to visit the temples,better book your flights direct to siem reap.sayang yung 6 hours trip from phnom penh to siem reap :)

7:30 am - ETD phnom penh
1:30 pm - ETA siem reap
2:00 pm - check in guest house
2:30 - 4:00 pm - toured angkor national museum (no taking of pictures allowed.boo!)
5:30 pm - went to angkor night market
7:30 pm - dinner (chinese restaurant)
april 15
7:00 am - 4:00 pm - temple tour
we went to...
bayon temple
ta prohm (my favorite temple!!!!!!)
banteay srey (i think 1-2 hour travel just to get to this temple)
angkor wat (it's huge!!!)
6:00 pm - dinner
april 16
7:30 am - ETD siem reap
12:30 pm - ETA phnom penh
TIP! one day temple pass costs 20$/each. if you want to explore more temples,you may get the 3 day pass. it is also nice to visit first angkor museum so you'll have an idea about their cultures and history.oh by the way! don't forget your sunnies, hat, water and sunblock! weather there is soooooo hot!!
*shopping for souvenirs*
for souvenirs like shirts, scarfs, etc you try to visit angkor night market.super nice! also, beside the angkor wat temple, there are stalls selling souvenirs. don't forget to haggle haggle!!!
